Functional cab

Getting started will be a very natural process. The gear lever on the dashboard comes naturally to hand and the various control push buttons are distributed ergonomically on the console for easier use.

Cruise control

Cruise control + speed limiter comes standard across the Partner range. This is operated very simply using the controls under the steering wheel, making it possible either not to exceed the speed selected for safe driving around town, or to set the desired cruising speed for the open road.

Driving comfort

The dashboard, with its broad, high centre console, contributes to the impression of safety and well-being that prevails on board the Partner. Getting started is easy, the instrument cluster dials are highly legible and each control comes naturally to hand. The indicators and push buttons are ideally located on the centre console, just like the gear lever located on the dashboard.

To make your 'office' more pleasant, air conditioning comes standard. Your van's useful data is on hand too, thanks to the trip computer. This shows instantaneous and average fuel consumption, distance travelled and distance remaining on the tank as well as average speed and the outside temperature.

Multimedia equipment

Passengers in the new Partner will be able to fully appreciate the multimedia equipment available, starting with the single MP3 compatible CD / radio. This device can be supplemented by an optional Bluetooth™ hands-free kit. This provides a link betwen your Bluetooth mobile phone and the radio. Telephone conversations are therefore broadcast via the vehicle's audio system enabling you to take your calls while remaining firmly focussed on the road ahead.

Storage areas

The Partner is full of ingenious storage ideas. Indeed the total available storage volume can be as much as 60 litres, meaning there's more than enough room for all your essential bits and pieces. Some of these storage compartments include a driver's glove box located behind the instrument panel, an overhead storage compartment and a stowage door under the driver's seat.

Cargo space

The side walls incorporate protective trim under the bodyline for minor impacts, allowing the appearance of the exterior bodywork to be kept intact. The synthetic flooring shown, along with other interior trim options, can be purchased as an accessory from your City Peugeot Brisbane.

Cargo security

Once you've loaded your Partner, you want peace of mind that your cargo is stored securely. On the floor, 6 tie down hooks are fitted to stop loads moving around.

However as loads occasionally move around during transit, a 5 bar protective ladder is situated behind the seat as standard to protect the driver. For added cabin protection, a half height bulkhead with upper mesh grille is available as an option.

Cargo volume/payload

The capacities of the new Partner, in the standard (L1) version, position it straightaway as a leader in its segment, with a payload of a whopping 850 kg and a useful volume of 3.3m3. With the optional Multi Flex seat fitted, the volume can increase to 3.7m3.

For the long (L2) version, the payload is 750 kg and the useful volume is 3.7m3. With the optional Multi Flex seat fitted, the volume can increase to 4.1m3.

Side doors

The new Partner standard version (L1) can be fitted, as an option, with either a left side or two sliding side doors. The long version (L2) comes standard with two side sliding doors.

With a useful width of 640 mm and a useful height of 1100 mm, these doors permit wide opening into the cargo space. The doors are panelled which can accommodate advertising and your company name.

Rear doors

Asymmetric hinged rear doors are standard across the range, and open to 180° making it simple to access the generous cargo area - even with a forklift.

If you need to carry an extra long load, you can drive with the large door locked shut and the small door open.

Cargo space dimensions

For the standard version (L1), the load length is 1.80 m. With the optional Multi-Flex bench seat, this length can be as much as 3.0 m. On the long version (L2), the load length is 2.05 m, which can be as much as 3.25 m with the optional Multi-Flex bench seat fitted.

The maximum useful width is 1.62 m (without side sliding doors) or 1.5 m (with side sliding doors) and a width between the wheel arches of 1.23 m, allowing loading of a standard pallet.

Multi-Flex bench seat

A real innovation in the segment, the "Multi-Flex" bench seat offers unprecedented modularity. Most obviously it means the Partner can provide seating for 3 people.

Its numerous configurations optimise cargo space and make the Partner even more practical. Its functionalities include: retraction to obtain a flat floor continuous with the cargo space, folding seat position to carry tall loads in the front, a flat working space with a strap to hold documents and additional storage space under the centre seat cushion.

Multi-Flex long loads

The side seat retracts fully. Long loads can be slid easily into place without encountering any uneven surfaces.

Multi-Flex work bench

When folded, the backrest of the central seat converts into a flat working space with a strap to hold documents.

Multi-Flex tall loads

The cushion of the side seat lifts completely to carry tall loads.

Multi-Flex storage space

The cushion of the central seat hides a storage space underneath which can be secured with a padlock.

Engine range

An extensive, modern range of three engines is available on the new Partner. This range, consisting of the 66kW 1.6-litre petrol engine and two HDi turbo diesel engines (1.6-litre HDi 55kW and 66kW), is suitable for all applications. These engines combine performance with ecological efficiency. The HDi diesel engines in particular are workhorses, with their high torque output able to haul large loads with ease.

The standard Partner (L1) is available with all three engines while the long Partner (L2) is available exclusively with the 1.6 HDi 66kW engines. All engines are mated to a precise 5 speed manual gearbox.

Running costs

With the range of modern and efficient, small displacement petrol and HDi diesel engines, the Partner is sure to be your most economical employee. What's more, all engines meet the Euro 4 standard of emissions.

The trip computer, which comes standard across the range, can aid in achieving greater fuel economy by providing instantaneous and average fuel economy figures.

Handling

The safe, reliable, triple impact absorption structure of the new Partner receives front and rear suspensions providing impeccable, dynamic handling irrespective of the load level. The Partner is a pleasure to drive thanks to Peugeot's renowned ride and handling.

Airbags

The Partner is equipped with a driver's airbag, helping to protect in the event of a frontal collision. A passenger airbag is available as an option.

ABS + EBA

With two ventilated front discs and two rear discs, the Partner offers high performance braking under all road conditions. The anti-lock braking system (ABS) helps you to control the vehicle during emergency braking by preventing the wheels from locking.

Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD) controls braking wheel by wheel to maximise stopping performance, particularly when cornering.

Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) helps reduce stopping distances to a minimum by amplifying the pressure applied to the brake pedal.

Electronic Stability Program

Available as an option, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) anticipates potential under or over steer and helps you to maintain control of the van's steering. As part of the ESP option, traction control (ASR) prevents wheel slip in the event of loss of grip.

Safety cell

The Partner has been designed to protect driver and passengers in the event of a collision. The integrity of the passenger compartment is assured by impact absorbtion structures or crumple zones designed to absorb impact energy, whether the impact is from the front, rear or side.

Theft protection

People who drive vans often keep valuable tools, equipment or goods in them. The Partner has been designed to offer peace of mind with high levels of vehicle protection and security.

A three button remote control key allows you to lock or unlock the vehicle, or the load space only. Once the vehicle exceeds 10 km/h all the door locks are activated automatically.

If you wish to leave the cab unlocked while the cargo area remains securely locked, you can do this by using the button located on the fascia panel. The status indicator on this button also tells you whether the load space is open or locked.
